Pneumatic Tube Carriers

These are systems which are made in such a way that they use compressed air to transport items. The 20th century innovation has led to emergence of several types of pneumatic tube carriers.
Pneumatic tube carriers are actually used for different purposes in some organizations such as hospitals, pharmacies, banks, schools, commercial businesses and other busy institutions. Some of the common pneumatic tube carriers include:
·         Pharmacy Carriers- they have different unique designs and that each one of them is actually meant to suit the different pneumatic air tubes. Many of them have a large capacity and they can easily carry both pharmaceutical and the blister pack equipment. The carrier has a latching system that has been designed for easier usage. It also ensures a very high level of security for the contents in the system
·         Medical Carriers- there are many sizes of medical carriers depending on the needs of the firm in question. An easy glide as well as a latching system that eliminates all difficulties associated with opening the carrier is fitted. ·         Commercial Carriers- commercial carriers are designed in such a way as to suit different sizes as well as types of pneumatic tubes. The two major types of commercial carriers include:
(a)              Side opening carrier- it opens at the side in order to send or receive a load
(b)              End opening carrier- it opens either at the end or at the end in order to receive a load
